## Mass text / mass text message

Sending the same (or templated) message to many recipients, where each person receives an individual thread — not a group chat. Quick Send specializes in mass texts from iPhone.

## Bulk SMS

Sending SMS messages at volume. On iPhone, bulk SMS often means either a business SMS platform (short codes) or an app like Quick Send that sends from your real number.

## A2P 10DLC

Application-to-person messaging over standard 10-digit long codes in the U.S., with carrier registration for business campaigns. Different from texting customers individually from your mobile with Quick Send.

## iMessage vs SMS vs MMS

iMessage (blue bubble) uses Apple’s network when available; SMS is standard text; MMS adds images/video. Quick Send sends through Messages using the best available channel per recipient.

## Short code vs long code

## Opt-in / opt-out (TCPA)

U.S. law requires consent for marketing texts and honoring opt-outs (e.g. STOP). Always get permission before messaging customers and document consent practices.

## Carrier spam filter
